CHASING SUNRISE

Thirty-One years husband and wife duo. Current repertoire includes popular tunes over multiple genres and decades or straight jazz standards. Nice variety for all in attendance! Bernard has been playing guitar for over 40 years. Initially self-taught he attended UNLV’s Jazz program and has since played not only with his wife but with several jazz, funk, and country bands. He gets his unique sound with the use of harmonics and melodic improvisation.

Tina has a very sweet quality to her voice. Much emotion is felt as she sings songs that touch her, such as the 'The Nearness of You' as well as being all about the sass when singing ‘Mama's Broken Heart’ or ‘All About the Bass’.
